Connecting Vollara water ionizer along with Multipure water filter
Author: bookbuff (CA)

I have an existing Multipure Aquaversa undersink water filtration system along with water capacity monitor. I am adding a Vollara water ionizer after the water goes thru the Multipure and the capacity monitor. The male adapter for the capacity monitor is 1/4" , the OD for the Multipure tubing is 1/4" and the OD for the Vollara tubing is 3/8". What's the best way to connect this? Currently the setup with Multipure is with Sharkbite connectors.

See image of the capacity monitor with the connection to the Multipure filter and the other connector going to the

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I've been trying to figure this out for the last couple weeks and have gotten nowhere. I was thinking of doing a female adapter with tee connector with 1/4" sharkbites and an adapter for 3/8" tubing after the capacity monitor but I don't think those sizes exist that I'm looking for.

If the ionizer is going inline with the monitor outlet, why would you install a tee fitting? The monitor outlet is ¼" and the ionizer inlet is 3/8", correct? They make a ¼ x 3/8 adapter union.

How is tubing disconnected from this connector. I have several in a RO system and am pretty sure they are quick disconnects, but are stubborn. thought I would ask before applying excessive force. Thanks.

You push in the ring that the tubing is inserted through. Push in the ring, hold it in and pull out the tubing.
