I am trying to adjust the rotational stop limit on my shower faucet in order to get hot water. I don't know what model it is and I have not seen one online that looks like it.
I tried to turn the red ring, but that turns everything with it. The only result is that the positioning of the handle changes, but there is still the same amount of movement in the handle to go from cold to hot (or Luke warm). I also tried to pull on it, but it doesn't really move and I can't turn it. I took a picture of it and it is at the link below.
Does anyone knows what model it is or, even better, know what I have to do to adjust it?

This is a guess, but I would think if you remove the screw and splined brass extension, the red ring will pull off and you will be able to rotate the ring before sliding it back on. That red ring should rotate and hit a stop, to limit travel to "hot", when operating the valve. Usually rotating it clockwise would allow for more hot water.

If I remove the screw and the brass extension, do I need to turn off the water to bathroom?

No, you shouldn't have to turn off the water.
