My shower won't get hot. I recently replaced the cartridge to stop a drip, and ever since it won't get hot. I've adjusted the cartridge to as hot as it will let me, but still will only give me luke warm water. I thought it may have been the hot water tank but I have hot water everywhere else. The only way I can get hot water is by rushing the toilet and then it gets scolding hot for a brief minute. Any ideas on what I can do?

It's a belanger. Don't know the exact model number. The part number for the replacement cartridge was fc9ac008 if that helps.

That cartridge has a pressure balancer built into it. If the problem didn't occur before the cartridge replacement, I think either the cartridge is defective or debris entered it and has fouled it. I would pull the cartridge and see if you can see any debris that might have gotten in it. If no debris, contact where you purchased it for a replacement.
