I'm planning to install my washer and dryer in my outside shed and wanted advice on installing the drain line.
The main sewer line runs alongside of the shed and I was planning on cutting the line and adding a T that would accept a 1 1/2 or 2 inch PVC line.
Then run an 7 ft run on 1 1/2 pvc pipe back to the shed , approx 2 feet before you get to the p-trap I was planning on adding a check vent . Then a p-trap with approx 3 ft on pipe leading into where the washer drain pipe will attach.
My questions are
A) does it meet code to add the washer drain line to the main sewer line?
where should the vent line be installed , before or after the washer p-trap?
C) what type of T should be used to connect to the sewer line ? Sanitary T or other
I live in Florida in a mobile home

1 1/2" is too small, you'll need to use 2".
Use a 4" X 2" wye to catch the washer drain.
Do not use a check valve.
Use a long sweep 90 to turn up in the shed, a 2" tee standing vertical, the trap into the side of the tee and a studor vent out of the top of the tee, at 42".
