Hi Giant emergency! Need to know how to shut off water completely not only to the house. We have a leak entering the house right under the main water pipe in the house,in the basement. We think the problem is between the well and the house. The leak started as a big drip s nd us now a steady gushing leak!!! The main issue now is getting water turned off from the well to the house, not the leak itself. We have turned off the power to the well pump still leaking no better possibly worse!!No clue what to do please help!!!!!

If you truly have a well supplying your water and the power is OFF to the well pump what you have described is impossible - except for the contents of the 'pressure tank' bleeding down, which should last about 5-15 minutes maximum.
