Help - Noise behind the wall at night
Author: NoisyWall (NJ) Anyone can please help with this problem? I hear this loud rattling sound behind the corner ceiling wall at night. Any idea what's causing it? Water pipes or vent or electrical? Here's a link to the recording of the noise: [www.youtube.com] Many thanks!

Author: NoisyWall (NJ) It's a condo building. The unit is on the top floor. That wall is in between the bedroom and the bathroom. The other side of the wall is outside my unit, I'm not sure what's behind it. There is no visible fan I can see, but not sure if there is any machine on top of the building that's causing it since I'm on the top floor...

Figure out exactly what times the noise starts and stops, or any pattern if it's intermittent.

Then forward that info and the video link to the person in charge of your building's common area maintenance. Also ask to get access to the roof and adjacent top-floor area while the sound is happening.
