I have a air line problem for months then it guits and could be months before it comes back! I had my guy that has 50 years experience in wells and he put a new check valve on and it didn't fix the problem! Now he says there has to be a leak somewhere in the lines going to my drain back faucets, so my question is can the drain back faucets cause the air leak? The water just guit having air in them about 4 days ago and has had air all summer long! This has been going on for about 3 years. Its obvious to me nothing has changed in the well or pipes so the culprit has to be a drain back faucet! But we have had a very dry summer for 3 months and I didn't see any wet spots anywhere the lines run or around the drain backs. This air is in all my house lines and at the drain backs when its happening!

Your water lines have PRESSURE in them so water would leak out, but air CANNOT Leak into them, unless you pump it in, so there is something else causing it, but we cannot tell you what without being there to do our own testing.
