The sink sprayer attached to my Kohler kitchen faucet (K-10412) stopped working. Nothing is obstructing the sprayer hose or nozzle and I've replacement the o-rings and bearings and, most importantly, the diverter with no positive results. The product guide that came with the faucet shows an O-ring (77955) to go with the diverter (75878), but it does not clear where this O-ring goes (i.e. does it seat inside of the hole where the diverter inserts or on the outside somehow?). This doesn't seem like rocket science but I'm about out of ideas. Your suggestions & ideas are welcome!

The O-ring goes onto the diverter itself, there's a groove that it fits in.
