Still struggling with pedestal sink

I have been trying to replace the pedestal sink (the old one cracked).

The new one is a Kohler Wellworth with a Kohler faucet.

However, after I put everything together (I haven't caulked anything yet), I noticed that I could lift the bowl by a very tiny amount, which causes the edge of the bowl to tilt every so slightly closer to the wall. I am talking about a very small amount, like 1/16".

I don't know what caused it. It could be the tiled floor is not level, or it could be that I drilled the two holes in the wall a tad too high?

Anyways, any suggestions?

(A) Too small an amount to worry about, caulk it and forget it.

( cool smiley Lift the bowl up a little, slide a piece of roofing felt between the bowl and base and that should do it.

(C) Shim the front of the base up a tiny bit, then caulk around the base.

Author: m & m (MD) There were probably self-stick shims packed with the sink. Most manufacturers include them. They go between the bowl and pedestal as needed.

Author: Paul48 (CT) I'd use silicone caulk and take advantage of the adhesive qualities. It won't go anywhere.
