Hello, recently in the past week I noticed while taking a shower that every 10 seconds the water pressure will increase for 3 seconds and get warmer, then return to the normal hot temperature.
I checked the bathtub and sinks and they are doing the same thing.
Any thoughts? My water heater is 20 years old.
Thank you in advance for the insight.

The first thing to check would be your pressure tank. Sounds as though it is waterlogged.

The pressure tank goes from 40 to 60. I did notice this morning the first thing I did was flush the toilet, the pressure tank went from 40 to 60 about 4 times. I have a tank that needs half air and half water. Not sure if it is an older tank

Yes the tank was waterlogged, just got it serviced. I might consider a bladder tank over the galvanized tank. Thanks again for the response
