asked the builder 10+x's to let me know where to place the elevator pit drain and pump discharge....found out whatever answer he gave me is incorrect...
i have it all piped and now the elevator bracing is in the way....builder wants to use a flexible discharge to wrap pipes around the bracing.....WTF.....says inspection is over
its either find a way to make it work or bustup the floor and start over..
thought about buying the corrugated discharge piping that comes in a 20'roll and run the whole thing that way....not sure how legal or not that is?
builder says if i can use 3-4' of flex to bridge the gap between the 2 pieces of 1 1/2 pvc it will work....im asking if i can hard pipe it up and around instead.....looked into radiator hose....too ridged auto supplier said to make nice bend..
maybe i needed to ask the builder 20x's about where to place the crock/discharge instead of 10x's

No blueprints of the area? You cannot connect it to the drain system, unless you use one of those "expensive" pumps made for elevator pits which separate the oil and water.

found out the builder didnt even talk to the elevator installer....i asked him 10x's.....he asked the installer 0 x's
i hooked up the drain the way he wanted.....horrible.....should have taken a photo....i also did other work at the house while i was there, so the invoice i sent for the work doesnt say i did anything with the elevator drain....if it comes back to haunt me i will deny i touched it...its that bad.........
my prices just went up for this builder......next time i will talk to his subs myself instead of using him as a go between......and ill charge for my time...
the pump goes to grade...no oil (electric motor elevator)....crock also connected to drain tile
