 Need toilet seat
Author: davdichew (GA)

I need a toilet seat with a non-standard bolt pattern. It is a one-piece low-profile toilet and the bolts go horizontally into the tank rather than vertically down into the seat. What do I look for and where do I find one? The bolts are on 7" centers. Here is a picture:

What @#$%& would design such a freak of a toilet? Never seen one like that before, I would consider replacing it.

Our sponsor offers replacement seats like this on their page [www.plumbingsupply.com] about half way down the page.

the picture does not show enough to determine whether it is a Kohler Champlain or a Case 1000/1100, so I am not sure if the seat mentioned will fit it.

The raised design on the lid is that of a Case Second Model A. The 1000/1100/3000 had a different lid design.

That is definitely case. Still sold locally near me so you should be able to find it.

Really? I haven't seen a "new" Case 1000/1100/3000/3100 for decades, not have I seen replacements seats either. At one time there was an adapter hinge that you fastened to the tank holes then a conventional seat attached to it.

Do the adapters exist? I have two seats that I would love to replace. I don't see any online that are the same size as what I have.
