How to flush new installed slant fin baseboard?
Author: Anthonie80 (NY)

Hello,

I recently installed a new baseboard loop (closed) to my Quietside dual purpose boiler. I have not yet tied into the supply and return line just yet. Once I drain the system and connect to the lines, how do I go about flushing the new work to clean out any residual flux? I have a basic idea but was hoping for some experienced advice.

Thank you!

Use 2 ball valves to isolate the loop form the system, and 2 boiler drains. It will make it a snap to flush with
2 garden hoses, one out on the lawn. It also allows you to purge the air with city pressure the same way.
