The Delta 1400 series is a very good faucet. What are you having trouble with ?

It was leaking tried to change the valve. The white plastic piece came
out,the other part didn't I have a brass piece still in the pipe. I've pulled it, sprayed vinegar on it, but it won't budge....I can't. Find a video explaining how to remove it. Now all water is off.

If you are trying to remove the faucet cartridge from the valve body, I assume you have unscrewed the retaining ring. You can take a knife and insert the edge between the valve body and the cartridge to force it out.

The white plastic part came off its the brass base that I'm having a problem with. I've sprayed wd40 on it. Still nothing. Is there a special tool I should be using???

Maybe a pair of needle nose wire pliers, or anything else that you can use to grab hold of the brass piece and twist and pull it free.

The needle nose pliers did the trick. The piece wasn't brass after all. It was plastic. Someone suggested wd40. I wiggled and wiggled and it started breaking apart and finally I was able to get it out. Thank you for the support. It's all back together now and working beautifully!!!!
