Sewer Smell in the bath room and on my deck
Author: westboro_res (MA)

Hi ,
I am smelling the sewer smell in my Bathroom, I have changed the Wax ring and reduced the smell 70% and then i have seal the Commode and bathroom floor then the smell had gone 90% but some day smell come back or over few days smell accumulated.
another thing i smell lots of sewer smell on my Deck where there is a vent pipe on the roof. So i am not sure it supposed to smell that much over the vent or some where the pipe is leaking or under the bath room floor pipe is broke.

Just wondering how can find what is causing it?

Thanks in advance

sewer smells are aggravating and most times very difficult to locate.
if there is a smell coming from you vent on the roof, you can get a filter to help.
