Inch and a quarter in to two wont go!

Hi chaps ex pat Brit again. Interesting problem here in the Philippines - Cant buy a Inch and a quarter to two inch connector/adapter for love nor money the object does not exist. The locals use epoxy resin! but for the kitchen sink or the bathroom sink drain, where I might want to replace the sink, epoxy is two much and ugly. I used some rubber cut in to a strip I wound it tightly around the pipe and pushed it in to the two inch. perfect fit water tight! Any thoughts?

Considering that the U.S.A. managed (occupied) the Philippines for a long time and an even longer presence considering the military bases, it's odd that the plumbing is so erratic! Any way never mind so far I have found workarounds with your help. Edited 1 times.
