i have been having a problem with my downstairs toilet. i have already taken the toilet of and snaked it once, however, the problem came back. my main is fine becasue the rest of the house isnt backing up. but there is a 10 foot pipe connecting this toilets waste to the main and for some reason it is clogging. the bathroom is not used often. also there is a shower in that bathroom and that will back up into the shower when the toilet acts up.
any suggestions?
thanks
john

If the drainage is backing up into the shower that eliminates the toilet as being the problem. There is an obstruction of some sort downstream of the shower and toilet.

also, it seems when it sits for awhile the water in the toilet get low. and when i flush, it goes down but seems like there is an air pocket in the pipe and water actually bubbles and shoots out of the toilet.
