 Flexible Venting??
Author: cptnjack (NJ)

Im adding a powder room in my basement and there is no vent to tie into until i reach the attic. My question is, is there any flexible piping option to use to snake from my attic down into the basement? The vents currently come up right at the eaves of my roof so its much too tight to feed rigid done.

Nothing that's code approved. Can you feed the pipe up from the basement in sections and use couplings ?

i know it is not code approved but i too have thought "why can't we use flexible PVC spa tubing?"
i have seen it on swimming pools and on whirlpools where it holds a few pounds of pressure.
manufacturer states it can be glued into pvc fittings.
anyway, just saying...

[#$%&]
i have never used it but would prefer it over an AAV.

If it's right at the eave you could drill another hole in the roof and drop the pipe down from there, leave enough sticking up to put your roof flashing on.
