 Feed line to toilet
Author: ronv (CA)

I need to replace the feed to the toilet tank. The current one is a single unit with the valve and line as one piece. It seems to screw onto the copper pipe coming from the wall. This is an old (35 yrs) connection. I am nervous about trying to loosen the nut as I worry about twisting the copper pipe because it has been on there so long. Any suggestions? Heat?

If you can post a picture here it would be helpful so we can see what you are talking about.

if it is threaded at the wall, it is an easy fix. as KC asked, post a picture for the most accurate responses.

I took a picture of the valve and line with my IPhone, sent it to my computer. Does this work?

you will have to use a third party site like tinypic or photobucket and put the link up here, we can't see that picture.
