Just want to thank this forum for the help I received in troubleshooting my complex heating system with an Amtrol indirect Hot water Maker. I received the new and improved part yesterday from Amtrols distributor.
Wired it in this morning. Took a shower shortly thereafter.
Anyone with an Amtrol Boiler Mate WH-7P the controls have been greatly improved. The new part number is 940R101 a little pricey ($200)but worth it because the relays are fused.

200$, that's one of the reasons why I don't use Amtrol. That part should have been covered as a recall item.

Not exactly. . .i installed this back in 1997 and have reduced my cost 3/4 ove my former Elec. H2O heat.
Never had a problem in all these years. The initial cost ($800) was pricy but amortized the cost in 2-years.
It is unbelievably economical with a gas or oil fired boiler especially in winter when most of my zones (6) are demanding. It has priority over all others and captures the heat of other demands.
Happy Amtrol owner.
