One spot runs about 3'... it's for a washing machine.

The other spot is for the kitchen sink... it's about 7'6".

If too much fall is an issue with drainage, I've got a whole lot of vertical pipes to replace.

Too much fall on a long toilet drain can be problematic when the water outruns the waste.

The sink might be a problem, depending on where the vent is connected.

Moving solids in a horizontal pipe is much more complicated that in a verticle pipe. There is a reason that the code is specific in these fractions of an inch for moving solids and liquids efficiently.

What is the recommendation on kitchen sink vent location with greater than 1/4" fall... or how does the location have an affect? The house is on septic... so people don't usually have a garbage disposal...
