Hi All,
Been a few years, but I'm back to adding another set of plumbing to our house. Attached is my rough schematic for a 1/2 bath with a potential tie in for a second bathroom on the floor above. My main question is whether the vent idea I have will work: I have planned a wet vent (same pipe as lav discharge) to vent the toilet approx. 5' from the toilet itself. Hoping this will work. Would love to hear some comments before I go get the permit.

Thanks, Packy, those are nice words to hear... Cleanout would go in section below where lav joins wet vent? i.e., under sink and in wall?

The ispector should prefer a 3" riser to the lavatory with a 3" cleanout in it.

He is probably referencing 3" because it comes off of a 3" line for better snaking later when you need to clean it out.
