I just signed up here hoping to get some help and advice. I have no knowledge whatsover in plumbing so any help Would be hightly appreciated.

I recently bought a house where in my living room, located in the basement i have a drop ceiling. The problem is that i have 3 visible pipes below my ceiling. I believe they are for my shower and vanity from my bathroom. 2 of them are located close to the wall, on of those are a u-shape while the other is from ceiling to wall about 40 cm long. The u-shape is sticking down showing the part of the U.

The third visible pipe is also a U-shape and this one has a screwcork on it. (sorry for my lack of technical terms).

I checked above the ceiling and it seems like it could be possible to just cut and move the u-shapes but i understand there is norms to consider thats why im asking here since i dont know any plumber.

you can not legally raise that trap. you would create an "S" trap by doing so.

What your pictures show are plumbing drain waste pipes
You can lower the ceiling in this area
The metal frames might be for a acoustic panel ceiling?

What 3 fixtures would necessitate having their traps below the floor?

if he had a tub, a shower and a bidet, that would do it..

oh bernabeu... i thought we just went thru this? in order to be back outlet the bidet would have to hold water like a toilet. ain't no such thing
or put it this way... you would have a better chance of finding one than the D-backs winning the world series.

I think this year we can substitute the Soxs (crimson, not ivory).

i think we are both right. just about any bidet gives you the option of keeping the trap up high and draining it to the wall.
what i'm refering to would be a bidet with an integral trap.
i remember being wrong once but i forgot when that was. :>
