A month after replacing all of the parts inside the tank of my case 3000 I am still having the following issues in order of severity:
1. Toilet continues to run. Can hear slight dripping coming from tank after tank fills and have to lift the ball rod to get it to stop. The water will actually start to fill over the ball at the end and when you manually lift the rod it almost pops up that last 1/4" or so.
2. The handle will not stay down once in a while. Will work fine then once in a while will not stat down even after repeated attempts and will have to be held down until the bowl is almost empty.
3. The adjustment where the water enters the toilet leaks slightly unless I have it at a specific height. I saw some instructions to loosen the nut beneath the set screw to adjust it and has leaked since. I still don't understand why that nut had to be loosened at all as the screw can be adjusted when the nut is fully tightened.
I cannot find a local plumber familiar with these toilets.
Any help would be apprecuated.

1 & 2 are probably adjustments, but we would have to be threre to see what is happening. If you can turn the screw with the nut tightened, then you probably don't have it tight enough.

Remove the piston and ball assembly located under the float rod linkage and clean it and lubricate with silicone grease. Flush it out while you have it apart.
Remove the handle and clean the shaft with emery cloth and lubricate for non-stick action.
