6" Chase Sleeve installation for future casita

I am concerned that a contractor has put a 6" Chase sleeve (30' in length) in the wrong part of the construction of my RV garage. The contract said to provide and install a 6" Chase sleeve approx 30' long for Future Plumbing Connection to the Proposed Casita. When I inquired where the sleeve was it had not been installed, even though the RV garage is mostly completed. They buried a 6" sleeve approximately a foot away from the back of the foundation of the RV garage. Can anyone out there confirm that this is or is not the proper way to install a 6" Chase sleeve?

I really need your help asap.

You should have specified the location in the plans....not sure what you are planning to run in the sleeve but electric needs to be 18" min below grade. Local codes will also specify required depth for plumbing and may prohibit running plumbing and electric in the same conduit.

It would have been cheaper/easier to have the proper plumbing installed from the beginning instead of trying to retrofit through a 6" conduit.

Author: hj (AZ) Unless someone specifies the EXACT location for a sleeve there is no "improper" way to do it. A sleeve is just an empty pipe in the ground and it can go anywhere. Besides, it may be useless for what you plan anyway.
