Hi, I was trying to do a Quick update to my bathroom I have builder Moen faucets. I replaced the trim in the Shower in my master bath with brushed nickel. Then I replaced my Shower door with a better glass door and because I had brushed nickel trim in the shower I ordered the door in brushed nickel trim and hardware. Now here is the Dilemma. I was going to replace my old counter sink and faucet with new. Now I have a ugly builder grade moen tub filler that I would like to match with my new sink Faucet also it is chrome. I requested when the house was built to have a hand held shower in my tub for cleaning. Instead of installing a spout with a divert-er they installed a plain spout and a separate line to a divert er/transfer valve and then to a hand held shower. It is a knob that pulls up. I cant seem to find the Trim that would allow me to change my tub over from ugly builder moen faucet to nice Rothbury BN spout all the tub fillers seem to come with a built in divert-er and no replacement knob for the Divert-er that I have. Tried searching the net and all I get are shower in wall divert-er Just to make matters worse If I have to re-do the plumbing to do this trim it is a tiled in corner tub so I have to remove ceramic tile to get at the valves and pipework. Trying to avoid this. Anybody seen tub fillers with out the divert er and a combo trim kit for the separate divert er to match. The Knob has a pop out cap and then is fastened in with a machine screw similar to a valve handle. I was sticking to the moen so I would not have to replace the valves in the tub. Starting to re think the whole thing might be easier to start converting my bathroom back to chrome and leaving my ugly tub trim right where it is.

Look for Roman tub faucets instead, you may find your valve/trim there and be able to match new trim to the old valve.
