My boyfriend was trying to fix the leaky kitchen faucet in our apartment last night. After replacing the seats, springs, cam and ball assembly and putting the faucet back together several times we were getting next to no water flow. After turning the water supply valves on and off a bunch of times now we can't get them to shut completely off at all. What could be the problem and what do we do?!

As for the no water, remove the aerator from the tip of the spout and clean it out. Turn the faucet on and run water through the open spout to flush out debris. The angle stop washers are probably bad and replacement of the washers or valves is needed.
