I have a Grohe Shower mixing body installed about 13 years ago. I think it is a Grohetep or something like that.
It has a top shower head and two side heads in a stand up shower with separate knobs to turn each on and off. The shower runs scalding hot now with no change in temperature when I turn the temperature control know in the center. I looked online for a temperature valve replacement and first the body is discontinued and secondly the thermo valve is ridiculously expensive. I am not even sure if I replace it, it will fix the problem. I am now interested in replacing the entire body. Any suggestions as to which body will work best with this set up. I am not interested in precise temperature adjustment. Just old fashion mixing. Thanks for your help.

Hi All,
We only wish Grohe has a lifetime warranty.
Electronic Faucets, Valves and Controls Warranty: GROHE warrants its electronic faucets, valves and controls to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use for five (5) years from the date of purchase.

I didn't see anywhere that you stated it was an "electronic faucet". I got the impression it was a shower panel mounted outside the wall.
