In a condominium, installed a shower bar with overhead, handheld, and body outlets. The water shoots out of the body outlets straight across to the wall 5 feet away in a powerful stream. It is unsafe for children. What can be done to lower the water pressure? Can it be fixed without taking out the new tile?

you need to buy an inexpensive gauge that screws onto a hose faucet and find out what your house pressure is.
if the house pressure is too hig then that is easily remedied with a whole house pressure reducer.
if the house pressure is not to high but the heads are causing the problem, either change the heads or get a pressure reducer for the bathroom hot and one for the cold.

you can install a pressure reducer anywhere you can have access to a pipe.
so, depending on how your bathroom is piped, maybe 'yes' and maybe 'no'.

Before you start cutting pipes..... purchase a hose bibb water pressure gauge and measure the pressure, as suggested.
