Air bubbles in toilet AFTER flushing
Author: william88gto (GA)

Thanks in advance for any help with this issue i'm having. A little history, I removed a toilet from my master bath and installed it into my guest bathroom. Before removing it, the toilet was working fine, I replaced the wax ring and water supply line (new toilet was slightly highier) and it works fine and flushes and doesn't leak. What i cant figure out is why, for some reason, it will flush and refill normal but right before it is finished refilling a few small air bubbles pop up. I thought that it was just some air and it would fix itself so I have flushed it for a few days but its still doing the same thing today. Anyone had this problem or know what it could be? I will list a few other things that could help with determining the problem. Thanks again!

-About 3 weeks ago i had the main line snaked for a clog that I had, and i am noticeing that guest bath tub is now draining slowly.
-The guest bath is closer to the end of the drain line that goes out to the city sewer.
-The old toilet was old and help a lot more water than this newier toilet and maybe thats why i never noticed any problem?

It sounds like your main wasn't cleaned properly. If you run the spin cycle on your washing machine, do you hear other drains in the house gurgling?

Not that i have noticed, i just did this the night before last. I did call them today and told them that i thought that whatever was causeing the clog maybe was further down the line. Because they had a 30 warranty. Is is possible that with the other toilet holding more water that is why i never noticed it?

The bubbles are in the toilet, not the tank, correct? Are the bubbles coming up from the bottom of the toilet or a the rear where the water goes out>
