I have a question when comes to venting. Im adding a bath, toilet, and sink to the basement. The bath is about 6 feet from the main stack and the sink is probably 10 feet from the stack but when it comes to the toilet it is more like 11-12 feet away from the main stack. I have it all laid out but know that I need a vent somewhere. below is what I was told.

The toilet and the bath are fairly close to each other and was told that I can connect the 2 with a 2in pipe and use that as a vent. basically below is how it would run. Will this work????

The distance from the fixtures to the stack is irrelevant . To wet vent a bath group you need a 2" vertical vent with a 2" X 1 1/2" tee in it for the sink drain. Codes vary but usually the sink must be within 60" of the vertical vent. Once you turn horizontal under the floor you put a 2" wye to catch the tub drain. From there you tie this pipe into a 3" X 2" wye downstream of the toilet.
Packy has a picture that shows this better than I can describe. Maybe he will share the picture with us.
