Question regarding NJ Code. Looking at a ground floor condo unit.
Supply lines feed a bathroom sink, toilet, tub and continue to kitchen sink. The supply line was tapped for a second hand held shower head with indendent Kohler single handle control. The wall shower/tub is on the same supply line (valves in basement) and the two showers can run simultaneously at different temps. Is this a code violation_? Will I need to correct, or demand/leverage seller to correct? Is it even legal to have two diff temp shower heads?
TiA, Popeye
PS apologies if covered elsewhere, links welcome, my searches yielded zip.

It's not a code violation as long as the 1/2" pipes feeding both faucets tie into 3/4" pipes in the basement.

In CA they have mandated "one shower head in one shower stall", but it is legal where you are. You do NOT have an "leverage" to try to get the price of the house reduced.

so, in CA you have 2 shower stalls seperated by an invisible curtain.

I think it has to be visible, AND in a different room.

No more than two fixtures on one 1/2" line....however that falls on your scenario...you have to decide based on what youre looking at.
