 basement wash water drain

since 1943 my washing machine has been going into its own ground cesspool. i want to install a basic pump system n go into my sewer system. there is a one and half inch pvc drain i want to tap into, it will be a 7ft rise, 6ft to the sewer pipe. what type of tank n pump should i purchase. i dont want to go cheap but i am on limited income.

Set a laundry tub next to the washer and allow the washer to drain into the sink. Attach the pump system (Liberty, Zoeller, Little Giant, to name a few) to the laundry sink and the overhead drainage.

Unless you have a reason it needs to be diverted, I wouldn't move the washer drain unless you have been connected to city sewer since then.
