Great. Thank you so much for the replies. I will contact them and get this thing fixed finally.
Is there any special instructions for installing this or do I just pull it out and push the new one in and put the nut back on.

Well, "just pull it out" may be somewhat simplistic. YOu will probably have to reinstall the handle screw, remove the retaining nut, then grab the screw with some pliers and push it in, then YANK it out forcefully, possibly repeating several times before it comes out. There is a tab in the slot on top OR bottom, (probably the top). Remember which one and insert the new stem the same way, otherwise hot and cold will be reversed.

Ok. I also watched some videos that are similar to my fixture.
