3 hole wall mounted kitchen faucet
Author: Uwbadger83 (WI)

I'm trying to replace an old three hole wall mounted faucet in my kitchen. It seems as though this is a rather unique setup as most of the three hole faucets are for bathrooms. My question is, can I install a two hole wall mounted bridge faucet and block the center hole? Is this possible ? Or what are my options for replacement?

Thanks

unfortunately you will have to change the entire valve body and some of the piping below the sink.
you will need 2 of these H & C.

they will have to be soldered onto a short piece of copper tubing and pushed up behind the sink from below.
then the new faucet adapters will have to screwed into them and the copper connected to your piping..

Thanks for the response. One more question, I do not have access to the pipes below the sink as they come in through the wall. See picture: would I need to remove backsplash and re configure the pipes behind the stone?

it would be more helpful if the photo was from the front, but I assume the third, middle, connection is a "drinking water" valve. You can cap it and use a common wall mount faucet for the hot and cold water.

after seeing the photo i realize i was wrong. (not the first time)
a standard wall mount faucet can be used.

Would I just need to cap off the middle valve/hole? What is the purpose of It?? Thanks!

It is a "special water" connection. it could be soft water, or hard water if the cold water softened, or filtered water, or NOTHING, if it does not have any water when you turn it on.

In the "old" days Kohler made several faucets with the extra tap on them for "three water supply" systems.

In France it would be cold on the left, hot on the right, and Perrier in the middle, unles it was Dom Perignon.

I found out last night that it defiantly turns on and water does come out, however I'm not sure where the water is coming from. Unfortunately, it is not Miller Lite....

Soemwhere in the basement there is the other end of that pipe, because it would NOT have been conneced to anything inside the wall.
