Kitchen faucet leaks from inside the faucet onto the cabinet surface under sink!
Author: Terryb (AZ)

My old kitchen faucet (14 yrs. old) leaks from what appears to be the inside of the faucet onto the sprayer hose and cabinet floor under the sink! Any ideas?

If the faucet has a "pull out" spout, then the hose is split.

If water is dripping off the side sprayer hose, it could be a bad/loose connection at the sprayer. Put a bowl in the sink, pull out the sprayer, put it in the bowl. Turn the faucet on (away from bowl). if the sprayer is bad, water will appear in the bowl. If so, repair/replace sprayer.
