trying to add sink/urinal w install pic
Author: rygiric88 (IA)

ok, hopefully the picture explains what im trying to do, if it is possible/within code, etc i basically am an novice and the plumbing stuff so i wanted to get opinions if this is possible or what else i may need for this to function (venting, different layout, etc) i did not show it in the picture but all of the fixtures in the pic are probably no more than 8 feet from the stack. please let me know what looks right/wrong etc. im looking for some advice or ideas on how i can make this work...im starting from scratch basically so if it gets too complicated i will have it done with the shower we are having installed professionally on the second floor. Thanks. all the advice i can get would be great. i will try to link the pic. please let me know if it does not show up...

As it stands, it will not work. Consult the plumber that is going to be installing the shower, as there are water supply and venting considerations that must be taken into consideration.

nice drawing but totally illegal piping.
both new fixtures will need to be vented.
if approved in your area, AAV's may be used.

If aav's are ok...would one be installed upstream from each fixture? Btw, the room with the fixtures is an unfinished closet so i have access to more stuff than usual since there is no drywall. If i cannot use aav's, could a vent run vertical and then exit out the side of the house just short of the second floor? Also, as the drawing stands...if venting was installed would it then be ok? Like i said in my first post...i am new to the plumbing stuff but could do it if i had the right advice and it didnt get to complicated. Thanks a lot so far for the info. Its greatly appreciated

Technically, AAVs should not be used in lower levels with plumbing, especially a toilet, above them.

if you install vents PROPERLY then your drawing is fine. you can not vent out the side and terminate the vent below the second floor.
by my code, outside vents must be approved by the local inspector before they are run.

thanks for the info. well, i may be leaving it for the pros to handle but at least how i want it set up is possible with the addition of the vents.
