Does anyone know of a boiler inspector in Brooklyn. Our heat is going crazy, it started by not working on the base in the two family house, with three different pumps. We switched the basement pump because according to my plumber it was the circulator pump, but it didn't help at all, that was yesterday. Now today, the whole house was hot even thought the circulator pumps, were off in the first floor and in the second floor. For some reason the circulator pump for the basement, was pumping to all of them the floor, which is imposible because it is only for the basement.

it sounds like someone opened the flow checks for all floors and the different zones are heating by gravity.
easy fix for someone who understands heat piping.

YOU think it is impossible, but then, if you were an expert you wouldn't need someone else. A good plumber, or more likely an heating technician would be your best bet, since you cannot afford to have us fly there to fix it.
