Delta 642 to 644 Conversion, Revisited

As a follow-up to an old post I'd made here 10 years ago under my old username, I have just found out that the pressure-balanced 600 series valves uses one part that is different from the non-pressure-balanced valves, and one additional part.

The differing part is the stop stem assembly. Non-PB valves last used part no. RP16213, whereas RP2090 is to be used with the PB valves. Also, the extra part is the balance spool assembly (RP574).

It is these two parts I'd need to make the conversion. Let me know if you have tried that.

You CANNOT "add" the pressure balanced spool to a non-pressure balanced valve. It goes into the valve body casting which is a completely different version. And, I use the same cartridge for both versions.
