Hey guys, job done. What the problem was, was that it was a screw on spout that was stuck so bad I coulnt unscrew it. What I did was hacksawed it off, spray some WD40 on the threads and was able to get a channel lock on the nipple so not to twist the pipe in the wall. It took alot of elbow grease, and help of my 15 year old son to hold the channel locks on the nipple, but with a heave and a ho I was finally able to get it off. Thanks to all of you dudes for the help
HAPPY NEW YEAR

unforunately, sometimes plumbing does require a mighty heave and ho. (and a 15 year old to hold a wrench as well)
happy new year to you as well....
