Hi everyone,
I have finished everything in the kitchen but the sink! The IKEA Domsjo single bowl sink has a drain hole that is about 1/8" too small for any of the standard sized garbage disposal flanges. We are too scared to shave/sand it. Has anyone had this same problem? Is there a safe way to drill or sand to enlarge the hole without shattering the sink? The kitchen counter tops, etc are all in place already. Please kindly advice if anyone has any suggestions. Many thanks from Boulder, Colorado! ~ Niro

A round file will work, as will as sanding drum.

I hate when that happens.............IKEA Sink, imported from another country and WOW. Have you considered taking back for an exchange? Returning it after it has been altered might make it more difficult to return it for another one. Good Luck
Best Wishes
