 Vibrating pipes
Author: bncampbell95 (MS)

Ok, first post. We have a two story house. Over the last month or so, we have had the pipes start vibrating and making a moaning sound after flushing toilets (upstairs and downstairs), while running the showers and bathtub faucets, the dishwasher and washing machine. I was hand washing some dishes tonight and the pipes were moaning. Any thoughts? I haven't crawled up into the attic to see if any pipes are loose, and the sound does not seem to be isolated to one particular area. Any thoughts?

have you checked the water pressure to the house?

You probably have a bad main water shutoff or a pressure reducing valve going out. If you know where your main water valve is inside the house, you can probably hear it clearly right there.

The reason of the vibration and making a moaning sound after vibration is may be due to the wire broken from inside. You must call a plumber and a technician who will handle this sound of vibration or moaning coming out from the pipe. Make sure that the equipment you are using may be of good quality.
