What are the most reliable plumbing fixtures? We have always used Kohler. And what is better for a laundry tub or sink: composite, molded stone, fiberglass, etc? Thank you

it is my opinion that kohler was the best but not any more.
TOTO makes the best toilets.
kohler still make the best cast iron tubs.
as for sinks. well, there are many manufacturers of good quality sinks.
laundry tub... the big box stores sell a laundry sink with a cheap faucet for 79 dollars.
if you are going to wash paint brushes etc, get one of those and change it when it gets grubby.
i'm not sure that a laundry sink costing many hundreds of dollars is a heck of alot better.

A lot of fixtures depend on the application that they are being used in. I wouldn't put the same toilet in my own house that I would install in a rental house full of college kids, and if someone is disabled, they may prefer lever handled lavatories as opposed to single handle.

I agree with packy and KCRoto on all.
With toilets I like to recommend elongated versus round bowl toilets and today "comfort" height has become quite popular and unless you have young children might be a good idea as well.
