Are you willing to spend $300 for kitchen faucet?
Author: Miles123 (NJ)

Kitchen faucet which works on response-activated technology! It allows you to turn your faucet on or off by moving your hand or an object in front of it. Pfister Selia Touch-Free Kitchen Faucet will be available in the market from this month for around $300.

My wife thinks it will be like our Kohler "Touch" toilet. It will turn on when something goes past it, even if she does not want to turn the faucet on, or off.

This technology is not new, its been around for a decade and when it works... it works well. When it doesn't, factory warranty, replaces it. No Touch products have minimum and maximum ranges that are preset and can be modified. No-Touch Faucets are ideal for those with physical limits and issues. No-Touch Faucets are good for the aging population. No Touch faucets, are more popular in Europe, but they are finally catching on here in the USA. The price you showed, is retail. Discounts are out there for anyone and everyone. Recently, I won Moen No-Touch Faucet and No Touch Glass Filler, for attending the ASPE Conference in Chicago. I was surprised.

Best Wishes

Kitchen faucets with a price of over $300. have been on the market for a very long time.

To me the question then becomes ..... is the P.P. faucet really much of an "improvement" in the eyes of the consumer over similar faucets that do virtually the same thing and already on the market as well as will the marketing costs that it will take by P.P. to sell this to the consumer pay off or will it bust them?
