I have A very picky customer that wants her shower valve to turn very easily the posi temp that I installed turns as easily as any of them, and I still had to take it apart lube everything inside and reinstall it. I am considering putting in one of the 1222 HD cartridges which is a Posi Temp brass cartridge similar in construction except the body is brass. I have not used one of these before due to the cost difference. If anyone has any opinions good or bad about this particular cartridge I would love to hear your thoughts. I have been using MOEN for years and I've never had a customer that wasn't happy with the way it turned. She is used to the handle of Gerber or Sayco valves. Again if anyone has used this cartridge for any reason please let me know thank you very much.

sonsider that the brass 1200 cartridges will corrode and get hard to turn AND hard to extract, before you switch to the brass 1222 model.

You won't experience any advantage using the brass cartridge and it may stiffen up quicker than the plastic.

Are you trying to say you've never had to "burn out" a plastic posi temp cartridge? Really? I'm in the process of making an extraction tool for stubburn posi temps. One that will work once the stem snaps off.
