I need a tee that connects to the strainer. I do not have a disposer, just a double sink with a dishwasher hooked up.
Is there a tee tailpiece like that that is not baffled but is threaded at top for strainer, threaded at side for arm and straight 1.5 on bottom to connect my dishwasher tailpiece too?

Is the baffled tee standard in a double kitchen sink without a disposal? Is the baffle inviting a clog?

They make them, I just looked on the Oatey website and they make some with, and some without. Having the baffle doesn't really change anything at all. If you don't have a disposal, it just helps direct the water flow. If you do have a disposal, it could jam up with food waste, but really that is doing you a favor; it is far easier to clean out the tubular pvc than it is to disassemble everything anyway, then have to snake the stack because someone poured all the leftovers down the drain.

Doesn't it cut the diameter of the pipe in half? (Im sure its less than half but visually it sure looks like that?)

The openings in the sink strainer allow far less than the pipe capacity regardless.

Unless you are putting garbage down the drain, it will not cause a clog. They do make "open" tees, but they are not always easy to find.
