Hi all,
I came down to the lower level of our raised ranch and saw some almost dried dirt in the bottom of the shower. It had been a few hours since the upstairs bath and washing machine had been used.
Any idea why this might be? What should we do vs not do tomorrow with respect to water usage?
Thanks!

My very first thought is that a) that's not dirt b) your main sewer line is probably blocked almost entirely. If there wasn't water still standing, it is probably still seeping through a bit. Get a drain cleaning company out there pronto and limit water usage as much as is feasible. Anything that would put large volumes of water down the drain should be avoided until the problem is remedied (laundry and showers over 3 minutes). They can assess the problem on site better than we can over the internet, and if it is the main sewer line then they can cable it out in almost all cases in under an hour.
