delta shower diverter problem

I have a broken delta shower diverter that needs to be replaced, the main problem is that I don't know how/where to find the right replacement part, as the house was built in the early 80s.
Here are a couple of pictures I took:

Wondering if I can get away with just replacing the diverter or if I have to replace the whole thing with something new?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Author: hj (AZ) There is only one model, so you do not have to worry, although it will be chrome rather than the antique brass of the old one.
