hey guys,
I recently purchased house that has half bath in the basement. Ive been using the toilet and sink with no problems for last 6 months, however just recently the toilet has gotten clogged and no longer flushing. I tried plumbing to no avail but it didnt make things better so i decided to remove the toilet and run some water down the drain when i noticed it was filling up after about 2 gallons or so. At this point i brought a plumber to snake and got it to take in water just fine. I re-installed the toilet and it seems to flush good the first time. If i flush it again once the tank fills it flushes very slowly and gets to the point where all the water empties and it gurgles. A third flush just leaves the water hanging in a swirl and back to being clogged. I noticed though if i leave it for about 5-10 minutes and come back to flush it, it flushes just fine. At this point im not sure if theres still a clog or maybe theres a problem with the initial install...any assistance on this would help!!!
thanks

Make sure he is using a minimum of a 3" blade and has copious amounts of water running while cleaning the line. Any reputable company should have a warranty on their work.
