My wife ran potato peels in the garbage disposal and now the drain line is clogged inside the wall. I tried snaking it, plunging the sink, and using a shop vac to try and suck the clog loose. Nothing has worked. Luckily we are in an apt. rental and I can have a plumber come out Monday or Tuesday. I was just trying to figure it out myself first.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you disassembled the piping under the sink? Those type clogs are usually found right at the disposal tailpiece.
If you're sure the blockage is in the pipe in the wall then it'll probably take an electric drain cleaning machine to remove.

you might be able to get it with a shop vac with a piece of garden hose attached, but you are better off waiting for the building maintenance to do it. If you have an apartment below you, you might push the clog down past their sink and then cause their unit to flood. It is better in this case to wait for the plumber.
